AccommodationThe accommodation is in the main farmhouse which has full central heating.
We offer two bedrooms on the second floor. These rooms are ideally suited for families as they have the exclusive use of this floor. This accommodation comprises :
The Bosworth Room - a superb spacious double or twin bedded room, with superking bed and antique pine furniture. This room is in the original 15th century part of the house and is fully oak beamed. TV/DVD, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries in the room. This room has a private well fitted shower room.
The Doodlebug Room - a comfortable double or twin bedded room, again with antique pine furniture. TV, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. This has recently been fitted with an en suite bath/shower room.
A hairdryer and small guest fridge are on the second floor. We would point out to guests that the oak stairs leading to the second floor accommodation are a little narrow and may be considered too steep for people with limited mobility or guests with very young children.
On the first floor, we can offer:
The PLUTO Room- a very spacious recently renovated family room with kingsize bed and single bed, as well as the option of a fold up bed (for younger children), flatscreenTV/DVD, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and hair dryer. There is a large en suite bathroom with a substantial bath and shower.
Guests’ Sitting Room - this is exclusively for our guests' use. It is a traditionally furnished room on the ground floo
r and is fully oak beamed with a log burning stove set in one of the four original inglenook fireplaces in the property. There are double doors leading to a terrace for guests in the summer. As well as flatscreen TV/DVD with freeview we can offer a selection of family board games. Guests are welcome to use this comfortable room freely throughout their stay.
All meals are served in the dining room next to the guests’ sitting room.
Breakfast – a full English or Continental breakfast is served daily using eggs from our son’s free range hens and locally sourced products where possible.
Evening meals – two course home cooked suppers are available, again by prior arrangement. We do not have a license to sell alcohol but guests are welcome to provide their own refreshments.
Please let us know at time of booking if you have any special dietary requirements.
There are many local country pubs and restaurants we can suggest to guests. The nearest of these is only a short walk from the farm.
Stone Green Farm is a no smoking home.
We are able to offer a travel cot and highchair. An iron and ironing board are available on request.
